On August 20th, the Rev Elise Feltrin will arrive at her service at St Andrews dripping in sweat having completed her 10 k run. We don’t know the text of the sermon for this Sunday, but it might make reference to:
"…let us run with patience the race that is set before us..." (excerpts from Hebrews 12:1-2)
She will complete this event knowing that her congregation is solidly behind her to ensure her successful completion of this run. The Safe Harbour Run supports vulnerable women and the environment; two causes she is committed to each and every day.
Won’t you join the Reverend Elise in running or walking through the streets of Bayfield, Ontario? If you choose not to participate, your vocal support would be welcome by Elise and her fellow runners and walkers.
Every participant receives “a prize”, a gift package provided by our 60 sponsors. As is stated 2 Chronicles 15:7
"But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded."
