- The 5k route is relatively flat on mainly tree lined paved surfaces.
- Max. elevation change over 5k is 10 metres.
- The 10k route is 2 x 5k route.
- The courses are certified by Athletics Canada (OH-2014-010-BDC).
- Water Stations are located at strategic locations along the route. (2.5k, 5k, 7.5k and Finish)
